El Cañón

Quebrada Morales

Experience: Interpretive stop, Cultural geography.

(Free / Low difficulty - Level 3) A small watercourse with great significance: this stream marks the natural border between two of Costa Rica's most iconic provinces (Alajuela and Guanacaste). Its value lies in its history and the conversations it sparks regarding culture, territory, and how communities have coexisted with this natural boundary for decades.

Río Azul

Experience: Volcanic blue waters, Waterfalls, Forest hiking along the river.

Its blue hue comes from the volcanic minerals of Rincón de la Vieja. Small waterfalls and clear pools are strung along the river, making it one of the most photogenic and unique landscapes in the region.
